Our flagship float tank, the I-Sense Solo, is designed for personal and commercial use. The tank shell is made of fibreglass reinforced acrylic, with a high gloss finish that is easy to clean and maintain. It is also insulated with foil insulation to retain heat and reduce electricity costs.

The lid has a large handle on the interior for easy access. Inside the tank, there are buttons for controlling the lights and SOS alert. The LED lighting enhances the float experience, while the SOS alarm alerts staff using a wireless sounder.

A water skimmer draws the water back into the filtration system and helps remove small debris from the surface. The water inlet can be adjusted to your preferred position.

Our filtration system features durable components made by market leaders in the spa and floatation industry. A 4kw British-made titanium heater, photocatalytic UV light, and 1 micron bag filter heat, filter, and sterilize the salt solution. Hydrogen peroxide or chlorine is automatically added from the auto-dose system.

Choose from over 10 session lengths and click start to begin a float session. The tank will automatically play 5 or 10 minutes of music at the start and end of the session.  Alternatively the client may choose music throughout their session. After the session, a 15-minute filtration and cleaning cycle begins to disinfect and filter the solution for the next use.

Heating is fully automated, and with the 'auto-heat' option enabled, the filtration and heating will run automatically whenever the temperature drops below your desired setting. This allows you to float at any time without worrying about heating the water for hours.

The float tank is controlled via a web-based interface or mobile app, which can be accessed from anywhere in the world with an internet connection and desktop or mobile device. Operating from a cloud connection enables our support team to remotely provide ongoing updates and diagnostics.

Features

We have designed our float tanks with innovative and market-leading features to create an unforgettable float experience. Every component has been carefully selected after two years of thorough research and development. Our team consists of three engineers with a combined experience of 40 years in engineering.

UV Cleaning

A UV (Ultra Violet) Sanitiser is utilised within the control box, and can destroy up to 99.9% of microorganisms as the solution passes through it.

Automatic Filtration

The tank runs a heating and cleaning cycle inbetween each floatation session. With 'Auto Heat' option enabled the tank will maintain your desired temperature throughout the day, ensuring that the float tank is ready to float 24/7.

LED Lighting

Colour-changing LED lighting is perfect for relaxation and can be controlled from inside the float tank.

MP3 Audio

A built in MP3 system and underwater speakers produce high quality audio, which can be customised using an online web portal or USB port. The only float tank on the market with web music manager.

External Filtration Unit

The ‘Control Box’ which houses the pump. filter, heater and electronics is kept seperate from the floatation tank. This ensures a quiet floatation experience and has many advantages over an integrated float pod.

Plug and Play

No external water supply required. The I-Sense Solo features a closed filtration system, so no plumbing is required to get setup.

Automatic Dosing

The Solo Float Tank features an automatic chemical dosing system, which sanitises the water inbetween every float.

Cloud Based Controls

Operate your I-Sense Float Tank from any web enabled PC or mobile device, anywhere you are. 'Float Control' application is available for iOS and Android.

Leak Sensor with SMS

In the event of a leak within the filtration box such as from a loose filter lid, a sensor will alert you by email and SMS. *Optional extra.

The ultimate in sterilisation

Learn how the Quantum keeps your float solution clean

Combined photocatalytic, hydroxyl radical and UV technology

The I-Sense Solo Float Tank has the ultimate in sterilisation.

Quantum draws on technologies used within the oil and water treatment industries. Quantum is designed to completely eradicate all organisms and harmful residues present in any floatation tank.

Proudly engineered in England

The filtration system is entirely designed and built in our UK headquarters. With an in-house approach to hardware and software development, we maintain full control over the production process, ensuring every aspect aligns with our stringent standards.

Distinguishing ourselves from other manufacturers that rely on third-party engineering firms, we streamline our costs, enabling us to offer our customers the most competitively priced float tanks in the market.

1 Micron Filtration

The filtration system is able to filter particles from the water to 1 micron in size. Standard pool and spa filter systems only filter to 20-30 microns and require regular cleaning.

Industrial Grade Components

All vital components, including the pump, heater, and UV system, are of commercial and industrial-grade quality, engineered to operate continuously 24 hours a day. The magnetic drive pump, specifically designed for industrial applications, stands as the premier choice for effectively filtering flotation solutions.

Cloud Music Management

The I-Sense Solo sets itself apart as the only Float Tank offering complete IoT control. Say goodbye to cumbersome USB sticks and cables for music management. Now, effortlessly oversee your music library via the 'I-Sense Cloud' application, allowing for seamless synchronisation of uploaded music files in real-time with your float tank.

Yes, we offer discount on multiple float tanks. Ask our sales team for more information.

Is there a cost for the Cloud Control service?

The I-Sense Solo can be controlled and accessed through the cloud from any device, with a server communicating with each float tank. This server enables us to provide remote diagnostics and deploy software updates, including new features.

Each float tank includes 12 months of free access to Cloud Control. After 12 months, there is an annual subscription cost of £249 + VAT, which is invoiced at the beginning of each year.

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept bank transfer (BACS) in GBP.

What is included with the float tank?

Every float tank includes a starter kit to help you get setup. The starter kit includes Hydrogen peroxide, H202 test strips, Halo pillow, PH up and down, Ear plugs, Spare filter bags, Hydrometer and some other essential accessories.

Please note that Epsom Salt is not included with the float tank. We can supply this for £340 + VAT.

Technical

What is the electrical supply?

The I-Sense Solo is available in two variants: 13-amp and 32-amp model. The 32-amp version operates with a maximum current draw of 25 amps and requires a 32-amp commando socket or isolator switch for connecting the control unit to your electrical supply.

The 13-amp version, equipped with a 2 kW heater, features a standard British/European plug.

The primary distinction between these two models lies in their heating capabilities. The 4 kW model excels at heating from ambient temperature more rapidly, while the 2 kW plug-and-play version is generally suitable for most users. Typically, float tanks are designed to remain continuously powered, similar to a hot tub. If you desire a quicker heat-up time, want more flexibility to turn off heating at times and have the capacity to accommodate a 32-amp electrical feed, the 4 kW model is the superior choice.

Example of Heating Times: If auto heat mode is turned off and the water temperature drops to an ambient level of 20°C, the 2 kW model will take approximately 3 hours to heat the water to 35.5°C. In comparison, the 4 kW model will only take about 1.5 hours to reach the same temperature.

How does the heating and cleaning work?

Filtering and heating the salt solution is done inbetween float sessions. Filtering is initiated from your cloud-based control interface manually or automatically. This process ensures that the pod has filtered the solution through the UV cleaner and filter unit several times to help remove any dirty particles in the water. During the float session, no pumps or heaters are running to allow for silence within the tank.

It is recommended to keep the ambient temperature of the float room above 25 degrees. This reduces heating time and heat loss during the session.

What is the tank made of?

The shell of the pod is crafted from high-quality fiberglass reinforced with acrylic, featuring a glossy finish that is simple to maintain.

In contrast, most float tanks on the market are constructed from fiberglass with a gelcoat surface, which presents several drawbacks.

Gelcoat tanks are prone to issues such as blistering and discoloration due to the gelcoat being a thin layer applied over the fiberglass. For example, a five-year-old gelcoat float tank typically exhibits permanent yellowing.

However, acrylic-reinforced fiberglass tanks avoid these problems thanks to their non-porous surface, which helps maintain the original color throughout the tank's lifetime, provided that cleaning recommendations are followed.

There is abundant information available online about the superiority of acrylic over gelcoat fiberglass in bathtub applications, which can provide further insights into why our acrylic tanks are a superior choice.

Additionally, the entire tank shell is insulated with thermal foil to minimise heat loss.

What are the dimensions?

The I-Sense Solo measures 2.4m L x 1.35m W x 1.2m H and has a 500L capacity.

The internal space is specifically designed for even the largest of athletes in mind.

Is an internet connection required?

Yes, an internet connection is required to control the floatation tank from a computer/mobile device and run effectively.

If you do not have a broadband connection at the premises, we can supply a 4g router with data sim.

The floatation tank can still be controlled on a 'local' network without internet but we do not suggest this method as the float tank will only have control from devices within the premises and also lose remote support/updates.

Delivery & Installation

Will it fit through a doorframe?

Yes. The tank seperates into two parts, allowing the each section to be turned on it’s side and moved through a standard size door.

How long does it take to install?

We recommend keeping half a day free for delivery and install to be completed. We will also train you on how to use all features on the float tank and general maintenance.
